    change charset

    Hello,

i have zabbix 1.8.2 and Debian 6(Squeeze). I send messages with desaster-status to my Pager, but i dont become plaintext..

my provider said that i dont support UTF-8 i must use an ISO-charset..

how can i do this? how can i change the charset in zabbix for emails?

I think we already fixed it in 1.8.3 or 1.8.4 so that Zabbix does not use UTF8 encoding if all message characters are in ASCII.

        Exactly, in the 1.8.3

No. There is only one way - upgrade to 1.8.3 or better to 1.8.4
