zabbix queue visible for zabbix users

hi,

i´m using zabbix server/frontend 1.8.4.
my problem is that i want normal "Zabbix User" to have a look at the queue, but the option "Queue" is in "Administration" in which the can´t look in.

This option is only visible for "Zabbix Super Admin".
i´ve used zabbix version 1.4.4 before, and there this option was in "Monitoring".

What can i do (and the normal zabbix users) to make this possible?

it´s not an option to give them super admin permissions.

I'm pretty sure that the permissions stuff they've included will make that an impossibility in 1.8.x and going forward.

In order to see even a single server item you'd need to have permissions to see that server. The queue represents ALL servers, so you would need to have permissions to see ALL servers.

You could, in theory, give read only access to the Zabbix server and create individual items of type Zabbix Internal to monitor the queue the same way as the Queue page, then make graphs or use Latest Data to monitor that, but it wouldn't be the same as the queue with the breakdown by type. It would only display a count of items per time segment.

@DEVS: Are there any major improvements planed regarding ACL/delegation ? You can't simply give away super-admin @all just to provide basic stand duty things!?!?
