Different item permissions on the same map

Hello all,

One (i think) quick question:

I have a map with a lot of hosts that belong to different host groups.

I also have different user groups with different hosts rights.

Every user must see this map. I tought that the items on the map would appear/hide regarding the user's permissions.
However, if one user doesn't have permission to see one item on the map, them the map itself won't appear for that user.

Is this an expected behaviour? If so, can you suggest an approach that won't include create a lot of maps for all the different user profiles?

Yes, it is exactly how it is supposed to work. A map is visible to you only if you have read permissions to all elements of the map.

I do not think it is a good idea to hide map elements depending on permissions, however it could be possibly implemented as a map option, not sure.

I do think that would be a preety neat feature to implement
