    Postgress 100%

    I recently install zabbix 1.8.4 with postgresql database.
    I'm monitoring just one machine and Iḿ having troubles with postgre database
    THe processe constantly reaches 100% CPU

    What can I do?

    which hardware do you use?? OS? filesystem? raid?

    maybe help you a litte program cpulimit ??

      Its a Dual Core with 2GB RAM, Red Hat Enterprise 5.5 x86_64 with ext3. NO Raid just one HD.

        How many hosts, triggers and items you have?

          Just one host, and just a few itens and triggers. Very weird

            I think this is machine (hardware), S.O or filesystem problem. In this case is need to do a specific troubleshooting on this machine.

            You have some data of this usage machine?

            EX.:
            what process usage more CPU?
            How many process is running?
