Interrupted system call - agent

Hi

I am using a perl script to gather some data from a vmware esx host, and I get this error in the server log :

vmware:API[{$HOST},{$PASSWORD},{$USERNAME}]] error: Get value from agent failed: ZBX_TCP_READ() failed [Interrupted system call]
Zabbix Host [xxxxxx]: first network error, wait for 15 seconds

The script returns "0" when it is done.

The script seem to run fine - where can I trouble shoot this futher?

my scripts takes to long I can gather - more than 30 sec.

I guess I need to run some cron job instead
