Ok. Here I Am Again... This time it seems that my problem is in mysql. The problem i have is that zabbix appears as "zabbix server is running - YES", but 3 seconds later it appears as "zabbix server is running - NO". This status of zabbix are real (i mean, when zabbix appears as not running, it really is "not running"). And here is my zabbix_server.log file:

My configuration files are ok... the username, password an host are also ok. So as you can see i don't have any idea of what i should do to make it work right. Thanks in advance... i hope someone could give a hint on what to do.

Yes. Today i check again the log file and the problem of mysql socket apparently disapears, but the log file says to increase the cache size (on dbconfig.c) and i still have the problem with the "zabbix server is running - NO". I try to find the dbconfig.c file to change the cache size but i don't know in wich path is.
Anyone knows where is it?

If you face this kind of problem particularly on OS boot, its because your zabbix boots before mysql does. This is not good, cause zabbix need database on startup.

MySQL is correctly installed because i use it with zabbix 1.8.3... what do you suggest me to do in order to save the most i can zabbix? Because it seems really bad and the time is passing. Thanks

So, if this problem appeared with upgrade of zabbix version, my suggestion would be, roll back on 1.8.3; see if everything works and lately update you zabbix on 1.8.5

Thanks for the suggestion... actually i'm really close to solve this thing... but i need to know how can i compress my zabbix_server.log in order to see if everything works fine.
