Auto-logout not working properly

On Zabbix 1.8.4, auto-logout doesn't work properly. On a page which does not have an auto-refresh, e.g. a configuration page, auto-logout works fine.

However, if a user is logged in and viewing the dashboard, which automatically refreshes, then they are never automatically logged out. I presume this is because the auto-refresh causes an action to reset the auto-logout timer.

Example: auto-logout is checked and set to 600 seconds (10 minutes). If a user is on the page /zabbix/profile.php, they are automatically logged off after 10 minutes. However, if the user is on /zabbix/dashboard.php, they are NEVER automatically logged off.

Is there a fix to this?

as far as i know, that's how it is supposed to work. whether that is the best approach, that's up for discussion

session timeout does not work when auto refresh pages are there

Hi,

I have similar kind of problem.In my web application, I have some auto refresh pages. These pages are not allowing to do auto logout or session timeout.

So please tell me how to activate session timeout when auto refresh pages are there. I want if there is no activity from User for certain amount of time, then user session should timeout.

I went through all version of Zabbix from 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0. This problem is still active.

Can you say me, what's the point in current realisation the function "Auto-logout"?

Auto-logout

I'm using Zabbix 2.4.5 and i think that this issue is still active.
I think taht even in the /zabbix/profile.php the auto-logout functionality is not working properlly.
Any idee about that?
