    Hi Shad0w,
    I have seen this happen when the server being monitored is very busy and the load average is high. I believe the breaks are when the zabbix agent could not get any processor time.

    In older versions, like 1.4.6, this seemed to occur quite a bit, and I don't believe it was load related. But with the latest 1.8.x versions I have found it to be load related.

        What is your collection interval set to for that item? I have seen 2 instances where we see data breaks like that.
        1. I had the collection interval set to 30. If I changed it to 60 or higher, those breaks went away.

        2. We had network issues on the monitored server where data was getting lost... saturated uplink and packets being dropped in the network.

          Hi Shad0w,

          It is the load on the server being monitored, not the load on the Zabbix server.

            hello,

            at the moment the interval is set to 30sec.. and we dont have network errors, because then wouldn´t VoIP work correctly..

            @kdx200rider: you´re right..

              Ummmm, the graph you just posted is for Zabbix server which shows breaks in the graph... and unless you consider .10 - 1.0 to be under load, then load is not what is causing you data breaks. Zabbix server reports in to itself, so it is the monitored server in this case.

              If you really want the data breaks to go away, change your interval time to 60 and use active agents. Of course, I only monitor 1,500 servers... I may not know what I am talking about.
