Problems with Actions : doesn't sent mail when an action is up

Hello!

I configured an actions which is supposed to send me an email when a trigger is true. The action seems to work, but I have this error :


My media types configuration :

SMTP server : smtp.gmail.com
SMTP helo : etc_zabbix_server
SMTP email : [email protected]

Did anyone have this problem?

as stated in the error message you need to use TLS (and authentication) to be able to use the gmail smtp server as you are now. Zabbix does not support this out of the box.

If you search the forum for 'gmail smtp' i think you get some hits regarding the subject and possible solutions.

gmail smtp is either free or paid service. If you are able to use gmail sftp, I believe, you can use gmail with zabbix

Searching «authenticated email» returns a few posts.
