zabbix_agent, solaris 10 1.8.5 build not building

I have downloaded the source files for zabbix 1.8.5 and am trying to get the agent on this SunOS 5.10 x86 box. I ./configure --enable-agent then make and no binaries are created. I don't get any errors. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not a Solaris guy, and have been banging my head against this machine for a week.

I couldnt get gcc to work so cc=SunStudio12.2

Perhaps the output of configure and make would provide some more information as to what is going on. Having said that I used gcc to compile the agent and have no experience with the sun compilers.

I'd be happy to share my Solaris binaries if you trust them or alternatively try help getting gcc to work.
