Reset item history for ALL items

Is there a way to quickly reset the item history retention for ALL items within Zabbix?

That is, I have item history set for most things with 70 days live data and 390 days trending data...but I want to alter this for all items.

Currently, I would have to click on every individual template and do a mass update for all items within the template...and that doesn't get items which are not configured with templates.

Anyone know of any easier way?

    Thanks!

You can use > Configuration > Hosts > Item under any host > Filter

      doesn't make sense

that doesn't make sense. I'm using 1.8.4. I want to list ALL items on the same page and be able to update them all simultaneously in order to change the data retention properties. I can't find a way to do that, currently.

Doing what you say only shows all hosts (and lets you know how many items are associated with each host), but does not show all of the actual items.

        Try again

I'm using 1.8.5 but I'm sure you should have it too. If you have items with the same name (at least part of it is the same) use filter by description or use filter by key.

          you clearly don't understand

configuration by hosts shows the hosts, and it lists how many items are associated with each host. it does not show the individual items until you click on the "Items" link -- which then ONLY shows you items from that specific host. Same thing with templates.

The best I can seem to do is, after I click on the "Items" link, I can then filter to remove the host name. But it won't show you anything if you remove all the filters (which is kind of stupid). So the best I was able to do was filter on "Template" and choose "Templated Items" and then "Non Templated Items"...so I could update everything in two steps.
