I'm monitoring my network with Zabbix and I'm trying to get my Asterisk boxes monitore as well. The problem arises when I cannot install software in the boxes (like the zabbix agent). I want to get the number of active calls at the moment of the 'poll'. I can do that by running a script locally (in the Zabbix Server) to the AMI, but I want the result to display in the Asterisk group in the overview accordingly to the server. Example I have server cat and server dog. They currently display uptime (gotten through SNMP) and ping. I want to add a field (under cat and dog) that will display the ammount of calls going through each in that very same OVERVIEW screen. Any suggestions...?
