host in maintenance -> trigger status PROBLEM

Hi:

If I set a maintenance period for a host, when host is in maintenance "ping trigger" for that host change to status "PROBLEM" and availability of trigger decreases..

Is there a way to avoid this behaviour?

Even better, this happened to me several times, so, do you know a way to "easily" revert those trigger "problem" status to "ok" when they happened in maintenance period??

"maintenance" vs. "maintenance period"

It seems to me that if you setup

-"maintenance" and a "maintenance period" in "Configuration->Maintenance" option in zabbix frontend -> if host down, trigger status is OK because in maintenance period

-if you only setup "maintenance" but don't setup a "maintenance period", if host down, trigger status is PROBLEM

Take a look at the screenshot.

Am I right? Can someone confirm this?

Verified: Trigger value is PROBLEM even host in maintenance period..

Is there a way to avoid this?.. I mean, if trigger get fired, and host in maintenance, trigger value should be OK or at least UNKNOWN

maybe setting a trigger which verifies if host is in maintenance..

Any ideas on how to achieve this?
