is that 1.9.4 or some svn revision ? is that a fresh database ? maybe you can try latest svn head (or nightly snapshot) ?

https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-3894 seems to be the same problem

      Tanks for response.

I downloaded the source, last week, from this link
Free, secure and fast downloads from the largest Open Source applications and software directory - SourceForge.net

Well, I could temporarily solve the problem, following the routine procedure to add a new host and then writing by hand the host name.

I not really looking to work with svn, I prefer to upgrade when you release the latest version.

      Tanks.

hmm looking for some light on the problem, I may need some patch for my model database or a patch for php scripts because I found this in my log Postgresql. This happens when I try to add a host group:

        tail-f / var / log / postgres / postgres.log
        ...
07/05/2011 14:25:38 zabbix zabbix ART bacula.xxxxxxx ERROR: invalid input syntax for integer: "MyTI.servidores"
        07/05/2011 14:25:38 zabbix zabbix bacula.xxxxxxx ART STATEMENT:
        H. SELECT DISTINCT * FROM hosts hg.groupid h, hg hosts_groups WHERE (hg.groupid IN ('MyTI.servidores')) AND h.hostid hg.hostid = AND ((hg.groupid AND BETWEEN 000000000000000 099999999999999)) AND h.status IN (0.1)

        ------
        Select * from hosts_groups;
        hostgroupid,hostid, groupid
        1;10001;1
        2;10002;1
        3;10003;1
        ...
        -----

I think the mistakes I found in version 1.9.4 are in "Configuration of network maps" and the rest works well.

Finally, I think to download the latest stable version (1.8.5).

        thanks
