eventlog in windows

Hi All

This is my setup:

Zabbix server 1.8.4 in a centOS 5.5
zabbix database in mysql in a centOS 5.5


I have itens that colect eventlog in windows working fine in windows 2003.

But I cannot get results with simple item like this:

eventlog[System,,Error]

In a windows 2008 R2


Anyone have this type of configuration working in a Windows 2008 ?.

Is this a known issue.

I find the issue.

The name in the variable of the agent.conf in the windows side, must be equal to the name of the machine in the zabbix.


This was the problem.

The problem is that it is case sensitive but you don get a warning

Explanation:
if your hostname in the config is ServerAAA and in Zabbix is ServerBBB you DO get an error message like can't find hostname, but if in Zabbix you have serveraaaa , then you won't have any warning, it just won't work...
