    Windows Disk I/O

Has anyone figured out how to monitor disk I/O on Windows? I am trying to do it through the zabbix agent, which I have working with other data. I have also looked into doing it through SNMP.

Does anyone know an easy way to monitor disk I/O?

    Much thanks.

I apologise if this is a dumb reply, but have you tried using perfcounters?

They should give both physical and logical disk io from the windows api.

    Have you read the manual/wiki?

I am running 1.1beta5. There's nothing about perfcounters in that manual.

I won't point you to the page in the manual or the forums, because that would be .... well, you know

Okay. I've helped a lot of people. You have to put in some effort before you get help. For some reason that is the unwritten open source software way. It seems to make sense though.

Put in some effort, tell us whats wrong. We're not here to rewrite the manual.
