configuration of network maps ( and connectors )

Hello everyone,

Just want to thank all of the development team for making zabbix !!

I'm having trouble with the maps configuration, adding host is working fine and status of hosts etc is good.
However i cannot create connectors (first of all there was a sql error (missing ' ' in query) but i fixed that and now even though the conectors are created in the database nothing is present in the connectors section of the network configuration screen.

All i want to do is representating links between computers and switches... Is that what connectors are for ?

Is it even possible ? i'd like a line between the machines i want to link nothing more, no need to change its color or anything...
Is there a way to to this ?

Forgot to say i was running 1.1beta7

Its nice to know I am not alone. I get the same error on beta6, I suspect its a Beta issue. I plan on waiting it out.
