deleted hosts appearing in the server.log

The following lines appear in my /var/log/zabbix/zabbix-server.log. these hosts do not appear in the web front end when listing the hosts.

any idea's how to get rid of them. They used to exist when we were testing, but i removed them when we started putting live devices in. If devices aren't deleting properly then the various mistakes we have made will still be in the DB too.

    thanks

    Also getting ..

Lots of these. Is there some debug options i can turn on to attempt to find where these might be coming from (eg what function and/or host).

      update

I can create a host of the same name/ip number of the ones mentioned in the errors, and the errors go.

but when i remove those new hosts, the errors come back.

guess i'll have to clean things out from the backend.

this is coming from the agents. active agents on those ips are connecting to the server and reporting their hostname as being such, but, as the server has no such host, it logs a message.
