    [4] Interrupted system call

    recetly i installed the appliance and upgrade it to 1.8.6 and all is ok
    but now i have 249 machines and in someone the sistem tell a error like:

    Get value from agent failed: *** Cannot connect to [[192.168.xxx.xxx]:10050]: [4] Interrupted system call


    and i dont know what i need do to solve it, all of new agent make the same error

    The message is basicly saying there is a timeout with regards to that connection. My guess is this is in your Zabbix Server log file and that the server is connecting to the agent, but the agent is taking too long to reply so the server times out the connection and moves on to the next item. Start by looking at the configuration for the host associated with that IP address, next have a look at the items associated with that host. If you don't see something useful there then increase the log level on the Agent in question to debug. As a last resort you can increase the debugging on the server as well. I say last resort because increasing the debug level on a busy server will give you a Tsunami of logging.

      thanks for you quickly reply
      I look in logs and in "server_problems.log" have a periodic (once a in each minute) have
      zabbix server is not runnig; attemting to start it servicenly root ca use service
      and other
      starting zabbix_server failed error code 0

      is it running in a zabbix appliance.
