    maintenance period isn't working

My zabbix loves to cry wolf in the night. I have a mail server that shuts down for backups at 3am, so I set a maintenance period from 2am, for 4 hours. Which is WAY more time than it needs. (Typically downtime is less than 5 minutes, but I was testing.

    Here are 2 screen shots:

    First my maintenance period setup:

    Then of my action setup:

Did you ever find the solution? I'm having exactly the same problem.

      Timezone between servers?

Just a shot in the dark here, but are you certain that the timezone/timestamp is identical between all your servers?

If your Zabbix server is in UTC time and your server with issues is in something like MST, then you could run into this problem (ie: service has issues at 2am MST, but 2am UTC is actually 7pm MST the previous day).

Yes, the monitored hosts (in this case switches monitored via SNMP) are in the same timezone as the server, and all devices are time synced using NTP, so time or timezone differences shouldn't be a problem in my case.
