Hi,
we are using Zabbix 1.8.5 to monitor our HP cluster with about 1000 worker nodes (CentOS release 5.6 (Final)). But we have severe problems to get Zabbix monitoring the worker nodes. For example yesterday I created the item "Zabbix agent system.cpu.load[<cpu><,mode>]"; yesterday it worked and Zabbix collected data; today it is again "no data". But the agent is running on the worker nodes .. this happend also with other items several times.
From the log files, there should be no problems:
@charm:/var/log/zabbix $ cat zabbix_agentd.log
28429:20111004:172316.267 Starting Zabbix Agent. Zabbix 1.8.5 (revision 19050).
28431:20111004:172316.267 agent #0 started [collector]
28432:20111004:172316.268 agent #1 started[listener]
28433:20111004:172316.268 agent #2 started[listener]
28434:20111004:172316.269 agent #3 started[listener]
28435:20111004:172316.269 agent #4 started[listener]
28436:20111004:172316.269 agent #5 started[listener]
28437:20111004:172316.269 agent #6 started [active checks]
Can anybody help us?
Thanks!
Marisa
