Sounds like you don't have the php-gd package installed. Try 'yum install php-gd'.

      GD or not ?

      When i done a phpinfo

      i read that i have --enable-gd-native-ttf' '--without-gdbm --with-gd=shared
that is mean that GD is installed or not ?

What version of mysql are you using?
I've had the same problem with mysql 3. Now I use mysql 5 and now work well.
