Greetings,
We started using zabbix about 6 months ago, and we are slowly moving our servers over to it. It works great for the most part, but after moving the last batch, we are now getting a number of false notifications every 20 minutes (which is our standard notification time). It has been ongoing for 5 days currently.
There are a number of strange issues with this:
1. The alerting servers are random, they were all working before, and are not new servers that we just added.
2. The servers are alerting for various things, but in particular: RDP, HTTP, SSH
3. There are other servers of the same type, with the exact same triggers with the same performance and yet only a couple of them are alerting. e.g. 4 of 45 webservers running windows 2k3.
4. When I look through zabbix at the host, it shows as if there is no issue, but notifications are still sent.
System info:
Debian 5.0.9
Zabbix 1.8.2
I can show the triggers we are using, if anyone has any ideas.
