    Emails when Authentification is LDAP

If my authentification method is LDAP (Active Directory), how does Zabbix knows to who to send emails when a trigger is triggered?

Because actually, I am using local auth, and I received emails just fine because I configured the email address on the "Admin" user. But with LDAP auth, it seems like I cannot configure the email address of the users...

      I am using 1.8.4.

I use LDAP as well, and have the local admin account set to use zabbix internal authentication (in case LDAP is down, we can still get in without having to alter things in MySQL).

There is no difference for adding emails to users that authenticate via LDAP or via zabbix's internal authentication mechanism. Just go to the Admin section, go to Users, select the user you want to add an email to, next to media, click "Add" and it will pop up asking for the email.

If you have a separate email server for LDAP authenticated users vs. internally authenticated users, then just setup a new media type from the admin section as well.
