1.1beta7 Win32 agent crashes on busy server

We have one server that is extremelly busy. The agent crashes every few hours with

The instruction at "0x0040b94d" referenced memory at "0x01a9f754". The memory could not be "written".

Could anyone point in the right direction? Thank you

Sounds like you might have some faulty RAM. Run memtest86 on it for a day or so, and see if you get any errors. If you do, part of your RAM is not working, and when something tries to write to that part, it fails and crashes. If you need a copy of memtest, I think most Linux distro disks have a copy that you can run from the bootmenu (I know Knoppix and Ubuntu do), or you can do a search online and create a bootable floppy.

thanks for your reply. Unfortunatelly the server is in production almost 24/7 and it is not easy for me to perform this test. Also, I noticed that the zabbix agent does not crash until a certain server load is reached (mostly CPU is hovering around 80%+). The server is part of a global operation, and once the NY office opens, the problems with zabbix start due to increased load.

The system is a proper server with ECC memory installed.

The search for error description on google suggest that it may be a problem with the program rather than the system. I am lost.

Which Windows version are you running? I've run the zabbix agent on 2003 with the CPU at 100% for days on end with no issues. Not to say you don't have a legitimate issue, just providing a point of reference.
