Possible bug in GUI for changing user rights?

Hi, I'm facing a strange problem.
On Administration - Users, clicking on a Group or a User the related property page appears. Then if I press one of the three "Add" button, a window with all the existing hosts' groups popups.
The problem is with this popup selection window. I can select the group I want to choose by clicking in the selection box, but then pressing the "Select" button in this window gives no result at all. I have to close this popup window by clicking on the X in the its right corner - but no group will arrive in the main property window. And so I cannot change user's or group's rights.

Is it a bug?

Zabbix 1.8.9 on CentOS 6. I'm using the admin user, with Firefox and IE8.

and if you try with a browser, i mean, with another browser ?

I'm sorry, but I don't fully understand your question. Am I missing something obvious? Am I the only one experiencing this issue?

Well, I've tried also with Chrome 15 and the behaviour is different. Pressing the "Select" button now do close the window, but as usual the selected groups are not passed in the property page!

this works for me in opera, konqueror and firefox (in 1.8.9 and 1.8 branch svn head)

I've found the problem I was using the customization described at the end of this thread http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11144 (Plaintext passwords on login page)- and it caused this strange problem. Don't ask me why!

Just add usergrps.php to the $signInPageNames array, like this:

$signInPageNames = array('index.php','users.php','authentication.php' ,'popup_usrgrp.php','popup_media.php','popup_users .php','popup_right.php','usergrps.php'); // lowercase on purpose
