PingerFrequency in zabbix-1.8.9

Zabbix server will not start in zabbix-1.8.9 fails with the message "unknown parameter PingerFrequency "

When I comment this in zabbix_server.conf" it starts up fine.

Can anyone tell me if this parameter is replaced with any other in new zabbix-1.8.9 version?

Please help me..thanks in advance.

Here is the actual error seen after upgrading zabbix from 1.8.4 to 1.8.9

#service zabbix-server start
Starting ZABBIX server: zabbix_server_mysql [19534]: unknown parameter [PingerFrequency] in config file [/etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf], line 25

If I comment this line and start zabbix-server, it works.

this parameter was non-operation for a while now, but only recently zabbix daemons started checking parameters in the config files. just remove it from the file.

Really, don't see it being listed any where. Not even in the release notes.
