system.cpu.util returns unsuitable value

Hi,

I get log entries on my Zabbix server that system.cpu.util values get unsupported and then supported over and over again:

item [example.org:system.cpu.util[,iowait,avg1]] became not supported: Type of received value [117870569160823792.000000] is not suitable for value type [Numeric (float)]

Looking at "Latest data" shows me that the value is usually below 1, obviously only in these cases not. I see them as ugly spikes in my Graphs.

Is it possible that these are counter overflows? I get this more often from more busy servers. All of these affected servers are OpenVZ VMs, I don't see these messages for physical hosts.

Has anybody an idea?

Can't really say something about this issue because it's too old.
But what I can say is that we run thousands of OpenVZ containers without having ever encountered any serious issue that has been in connection with Zabbix and OpenVZ.
