"Host x unreachable" - from one day of another... 4 vServers

    Hey there,
I have 5 vServers, one just for monitoring the other 4, 3 of them WebServers and one is an GameServer.

Since yesterday I got one unknonown status for each vServer...

Yesterday I switched over to use Template_Linux for all of the vServers so I can manage Graphs, etc. from just one point.

    Now Server-Log says:

    Code:
17393:20111229:093748.494 Sending list of active checks to [x] failed: host [x] not found
17393:20111229:093803.809 Sending list of active checks to [y] failed: host [y] not found
17389:20111229:093814.063 Sending list of active checks to [127.0.0.1] failed: host [localhost] not found
17391:20111229:093814.588 Sending list of active checks to [z] failed: host [z] not found
Has someone an Idea what I can do?

    are you using active checks?

maybe the Host Name or Host DNS in the host configuration is not the same of the Hostname in the client zabbix_agentd.conf file..

Do you need more infos to help me?

        ok..

Configurations from the servers in the frontend
        Host Name:
        Host DNS:

and the configuration on the agent:
        Hostname=

the thing is: the host name in the FRONTEND need to be the same in the zabbix_agentd.conf..

are you monitoring then using DNS name or IP address?

        kind regards,
