    Graph shows spuriously fired triggers

    Hey there,
I have the problem, that one of my graphs shows three triggers as "triggered" - but they are definitely _not_.
To keep it short, I will post som pictures.

According to the following graph, three triggers were fired

But as you can see, the last values were absolutely not critical:

And here come the named triggers:

    What is going wrong here?

    EDIT:
As you can see, the graph seems to show other triggers as "fired" than the triggers I marked. The items are collected hourly, I now found out that after every collection, the graph shows other triggers as "fired" - but all the values are absolutely okay.

    Best regards,
    Jimini

graph doesn't show them as triggered - it just lists them in the graph legend so you can figure out what those lines (in your case, one line at 5) in the graph mean

      richlv,
thank you for your reply. So these lines just show, how a value, which fired a trigger, would look in the graph, correct?

But then, why do I have some graphs that do not show this legend - although every of the items shown in the graph has a trigger?
An example: I made graphs for the SMART-values for all of my harddisks - every HDD has a graph, and every item has a trigger. But only some of the graphs show the triggered items in their legend.

      Best regards,
      Jimini

        Only 3 triggers

        Richlv,
what about the graph shown only 3 triggers.

In my case one item has four triggers but only three are shown in the respective graph.

How to show all four triggers in the graph? Is this possible?

I guess your fourth trigger is more complex than a "< constant" ,
or that the value is outside the graph and as such not shown.

If this is the case, you could force a max Y value for the graph.

In fact the fourth trigger is like the others. All of them are "<" or ">" expressions.

The graphs have Y values beyond the collected itens values, so I guess this is not the problem.

This is tricky: If I disable one of the four triggers, the graph keep showing the others two plus the fourth whose was not showed before.

Thanks for the quick reply and apology my bad English

oh, so there might be a hardcoded limit of 3 somewhere...
not sure, maybe a new zbxnext might be useful

                Hummm...
                But what is "zbxnext"?
Do I have to wait a new version?
I am using Zabbix 1.8.9 Copyright 2001-2011 por SIA Zabbix

zbxnext is a feature request in the zabbix issue tracker :

Is there already a ticket for this issue?

re-reading it, it actually sounds more like a bug (zbx project).
so there's probably a hardcoded, undocumented limit of 3 triggers in the graph legend :/

please, search the issue tracker, if no existing reports are found, create a new one - thanks
