Zabbix Server 1.8.10 does not respect DebugLevel setting

    Hi!

    My setup is:
    FreeBSD 8.2 with latest patches
    Zabbix Server v1.8.10 (revision 24303) (28 December 2011)
    PostgreSQL 9

My Zabbix Server has started acting weird since this weekend. It dumps all of its SQL queries into zabbix_server.log which means my log file is expanding at an insane rate and now takes up 15 GBs of disk space.

I explicitly set DebugLevel from default to 2 and then to 0 but still it acts like if it was set to 4.

I don't know where else to look. I tried changing path to logfile, tried to reboot, restart zabbix, everything.

Search in these forums also produced nothing.

Can anyone help me with this, please?

I had similar problem when two configuration files existed in the system.

But it does read and apply location of the logfile from this conf file. There must be something else.

        truss shows only this:

        stat("/usr/local/etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf",{ mode=-rw-rw-r-- ,inode=21481079,size=9044,blksize=16384 }) = 0 (0x0)
