I am just starting to use the Zabbix install put in place seven months ago, it is running Zabbix 1.8.5.
When I set up a new host and specify a connection via IP address, monitoring works just fine, but when I try to monitor via DNS name, I get the error
Dropping to command line, I can see the host just fine, name resolution works and spits back the right information. Zabbix just can't query.
What's my best course of action here?
