Proxy Issue

We have just got our first proxy up and running and have run in to a strange issue:

We had a test host already reporting to the proxy and when the proxy was started this came online. After 10 minutes it became unreachable.

Looking at Administration > DM > Proxies we can see the proxy is reporting back as the last seen time is updating.

Restarting the Proxy resolves the issue but once again only for 10 minutes.

Anybody have any ideas?

Try to separate things an look for the problem if its proxy problem - hosts problem - configuration problem.


If the proxy keeps updating heartbit it seems to be host problem.

what is the output of the proxy log ?

how you figure out that host is unreachable? a trigger in that hosts or looking at the frontend . What items are you gathering fronm the host ?

Thanks for the response we actually solved the issue.

Was a congifuration issue with listening ports on the host and the configuration of the host on Zabbix.
