    Keep period [On]

    Dear all,
I cannot understand why even if there is Keep period set ON, selecting different graphs, they always show "last hour" instead.
    Anyone have the same problem
    Thanks,

Keep period [On] means that current state is Off, so you can press the [On] to make it On. It's confusing...

      but...

I understood, but can you explain a little bit more?
I tryed first to set a graph to 1 month and then clicking on the [On] but then selecting another graph and then this one again, it switches to 1hour again.
Most probably I'm doing something stupid...can you help me?
I also noticed that switching from one graph to another, it always set the keep period to off even if I selected "on" as per your instructions.

      Thanks Alexei.

You're doing everything right. Hmm, I do not remember that ZABBIX v1.0 had such an issue.

Unfortunately, currently I do not have access to ZABBIX v1.0 test box, so I cannot quickly test it.

Is anyone else here to confirm this issue?

I can confirm this works on a 1.0 server. The 'Keep Period' will hold the period when you switch between graphs. However, the 'Keep Period' is oppisite of what Alexei said.

          Code:
Keep period: [On] -- Keeps the period on change
Keep period: [Off] -- Resets the period to 1h on change.
          HTH

I can confirm this same behaviour on a 1.1a4 server. I have tried setting

            Keep Period [On]
            and
            Keep Period [Off]

Same results with both. The period resets to (1h history).

After playing with this further on 1.1a4, the Keep Period setting is getting reset every time you change graphs. If it is set to [Off] while viewing one graph, when you change to another graph it resets to [On].

It's not implemented for alphas yet.
