Windows sender - how does it work

    Hello dear Community

Lately I discovered zabbix and I am very impressed.
    Immediately I'll started using .
My First Server to Monitor is a local machine.
Zabbix is installed on a Linux Machine(suse). I Monitor a Windows Server 2003 with the zabbix agent.

It was simple, I installed the agent on the Windows Machine and made the config file. Then I'll added the Windows Server to the zabbix system(webUI).
    It just works fine.

So now I want to monitor this Server through sender. Again I'll installed the sender.
But now I don't know where or how to configure this server in zabbix(in the webUI).
I think, the standard configuration window in zabbix is for agents and not for sender.
Here is a picture where I'll configured the machine in zabbix:

Anyway I can't even find the right part in the manual to get it work. Bottomline I want to monitor this machine through sender. The machine should send the information to the zabbix server.
Help, How can I get there?

I'm not 100% certain, but I think you just want to use the active agent.

Select "Zabbix agent (active)" in the item.

This sets it so that the agent on the machine sends the information to the server. Rather than the server requesting it.

I've only used the zabbix_sender for troubleshooting.

Make sure your hostname is set correctly in the agent config file. It needs to be the same as the name as the host in the webUI. In your case "scanpc"
