I'm trying to test distributed monitoring, the same way it's described at the manual. But got some troubles:
1 - After changing the local node using web interface, the session is disconnected and can't connect anymore.
To restore connection to normal situation, I had to roll back its value to 1 inside the database - nodes table, ID field. So, I have the following situation:
a. my company object has ID = 1 and department A ID 2. Company configuration runs fine, but after changing ID to value 2 it disconnects and does not permit login anymore. Just like this image is showing:
b) Trying different IDs rather than 1 and 2 the problem is the same.
2 - Even changing zabbix_server.conf file using NodeID=2, after the service comes up, NodeID got value 1.
This is my scenary:
(company and department is the same)
CentOS 6.2
Zabbix 1.8.11
Php 5.3.3
Mysql 5.1
Any clues?
