Zabbix_server service is dead

Hi all!

I've just install Zabbix 1.8.11 on CentOS 6.2. I used guide from: http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/howto/ins.../centosinstall
And there is no problem during instalation, but after install Zabbix server I checked the services:





I'm not Linux and Open source expert, so I don't know much about this. Could you help me!

did you start the service ?
using something like "service zabbix_server start " in a terminal as root

In order to troubleshoot the problem, you'll have to check the log files ( in /var/log/zabbix/ IIRC)

I already run command "service zabbix_server start " but it's fail!
Help me plz!
And I don't find out the folder /var/log/zabbix/

mmkay...
First you are in the command line world. I understand it's one of your first encounter with it, but you can copy paste the content of the terminal rather than snapshotting an xterm. makes copy pasting easier....

And second, aparently your init script is looking for zabbix_server in /usr/local/zabbix/sbin/ .... and there is no such file or directory...
youe either have to make your init script look for the right path/file or install zabbix in the right place...

as for the log file, it's configured in zabbix.conf so it depends on your configuration...
