Can not get "status" from zabbix agent

Zabbix can not get the "status" from one agent.

    Code:
    root@nms3:/# zabbix_get -s hostname.domain.com -k "status"
    ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED
    But other things work,
    Code:
    root@nms3:/# zabbix_get -s hostname.domain.com -k "system.uptime"
    12678358
Zabbix agent is 1.8.2 and server is 1.8.10.

      Look in documentation

Maybe that's because there is no such agent parameter ?

That has worked for some time.
This is noticed only because a host had the status "Host unreachable".
        That is the trigger {SFG05:status.last(0)}=2

No, the parameter exist. It just suddently decide that it does not exist.

            custom parameter

Sure, you can have a custom parameter named "status" but it's not built-in item and i'm looking at the official doc page here: http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...l/config/items

              "status" is a default parameter.
See in your Linux template shipped with Zabbix. There you have "Host status" which ask the agent after "status". A trigger exist that has the name "Zabbix agent on {HOSTNAME} is unreachable".
