    webinterface: ping host behind proxy

    Hey all,
i am new to this forum so i am sorry if this topic is in the wrong forum.

In the Zabbix webinterface(Zabbix 1.8.11) it is possible to ping or trace a host. For example if that host triggerd an event.

This works nice and all, ping as well as trace, but here is the problem. I have severall hosts that are monitored by a zabbix proxy.
The monitoring is great, but the ping/trace command from the webinterface is not able to ping hosts that are monitored by the proxy.

Is there a fix/patch/workaround that makes the script that way that it determines if the host is behind a zabbix proxy and then lets the proxy execute the ping/trace from the webinterface?

If not, i have to script it myself

Sorry for my english if it is not very good.
