    Zabbix 2.0 Host availability grey

    Greetings gentlemen.
I have a problem with freshly-installed Zabbix 2.0 — after installation (Ubuntu server 12.04 i386, PostgreSQL 9.1) I have one monitored host, Zabbix server itself. I have its status "monitored" but availability is grey and server is receiving no data from agent. And any other host I add remains grey too though I've tried both 1.8x and 2.0 agent versions on host PC. Ports are open, network is the same, previous server version (1.8.11) worked perfectly.
What's the trouble with new version?

    Hello All,

I have the same problem... Why it's happening? I'm trying to test this new version of zabbix, but I can't monitor my own zabbix server?

    Any help?

      Hello Morio....
I found the problem in my zabbix server...
Could you please, look if zabbix_server and zabbix_agent are running?
ps -ef | grep -i zabbix
I started manually the both services and now they are running. And the availability is green now.

I'm sorry about my english... I'm practicing and studying

        Hi.
Server and agent are both in startup scripts. ATM they were up and running. So i solved the problem by using 1.18.13 version.
