Zabbix 2.0 : How get Screens based on template in screens menu and Dashboard ?

Hi,

I'm using latest stable version of Zabbix (2.0.0). I really enjoy to have screens in template as recreating screens for each hosts based on template was not so easy to maintain!

The bad point : I cannot get those screens in screen Menu - I can only find or see them by using search bar - or add them in the dashboard. Is there a way to fix that ? Perhaps is it only sql query that has to be fixed.

I also would like to have favorites items (screens,graphs) ordered or organised (menu tree ?). It could be a usefull improvement.

Where is the active code

Hi,

Could someone tell me, where is the part of the PHP code that retrieve and save screens items, and that is called from screen menu. That should be something that use the API.

And I don't understand how the screen list in favorite screens window of the dashboard is generated. I never user PHP, And the organisation of code is really unclear for me.

Screens with search bar

Hi,

I just cannot get the screens in dasboard favorites ! The only way I found to see those screens is to use search bar with the name of the host. then you should get the screen with the link in the "screen" column of the host row.

So I just have to wait the 2.2, and see for an host oriented monitoring screen.

But i discovered the screen acces through overview the popup menu !
