No interface found after updateing to zabbix 2.0

Hello,

I want to monitor an Eaton Web/SNMP Card connected to a UPS. I can do a snmpwalk from the zabbix server and I get all the information I need. I added it as host without an agent interface just with an snmp interface. The Card is not capable of snmpv2c only of version 1. When I try to add an item, I receive the error message 'No interface found'. In zabbix 1.8.12.0 it worked. Does anybody knows what I did wrong?

edit: I don't have any interfaces for the clients anymore, when I use a template or copy the items to a newly added host it is monitored and the status is ok and the availability is green. But I can't add any new items, because it always says: "No interface found". Can anybody help? Or does someone have a similiar problem?

Sorry for replying to my own post. But I wanted to get it higher again, because it is really urgent. I can't add any new items and that is very annoying. Anybody any suggestions?

edit: zabbix_get is working correctly with hostname and IP. And I don't see any error messages in the log.

I solved the problem by removing the /path/to/frontend/conf/zabbix.conf.php. After that everything is working fine.

We have the same issue, but we do'nt understand your solution.

You did this on the command line or gui?
Did you remove the file zabbix.conf.php??
Did you remove a line in the file?

Create SNMP server Interface first

Configuration > Hosts > (Click on Host Name)
Make sure that a SNMP interface has been created.
