Zabbix sends empty Trigger Mails

Hi all,

since a few Days we have a spooky thing here.
every Minute (or sometimes 2 Minutes) Zabbix sends an empty Mail with the following Content:

Subject: {TRIGGER.NAME}: {STATUS}
Body: {TRIGGER.NAME}: {STATUS}

I have no idea where are these mails from. Also i cant find anything inside the Logs.
Is it possible to debug the initiation of a trigger ?

When i think about:
i had this phenomenon before. when i add a new Zabbix Agent to Zabbix server this Mail will be generated. It is a Result of the first Contact from the Agent to the Server.

but: no idea how to stop this ...

Hi Karina,

if i remember right, this issue was caused by "discovery Rules".

every Time a new or old Machine was discovered (before it was included in Zabbix) such a mail was issued by zabbix Server.

after disabling this rule, the Mails did stop :-)

Ok, thank you so much.
After I wrote the previuos comment I took the already "discovered" new servers, from the "discovered group", and at the same time I discover there were 2 server that didn have POSTFIX installed... so, considering your answer, I believe the problem may have been coming out the server on the discovered host group... but, I'm not really sure what it was.
