I've created some LLD rules for snmp interfaces on a host...
However, if I've read the docs correctly then it runs the discovery ruleset (by default) every 30 seconds. If i change this to once a day then when I assign the template to a host I'll have to wait a day for it to discover the items, and a day after that for any new items.
I'm fine with waiting a day for new items, but it would be very nice if the ruleset was run once when applied to a host and then follows the timeset you specify... At the very least put in a tickbox to automatically run the discovery rule if there are no discovered items matching the discovery item set? That way you'd at least get your initial population done quickly.
