Zabbix 2.0.0 does not trigger for unreachable hosts

I upgraded to Zabbix 2.0.0 from 1.8.8, and after the upgrade Zabbix stopped trying to collect data from unavailable hosts - as soon as the host goes offline, the pingcheck item does not update and remains in an "up"-state. I am therefore unable to get trigger events for unavailable hosts. I can se in the host-list that the agent is unavailable, but that is the only difference I can see.

This also happens with the host_status item that is provided with the default windows_template.

Anyone else experienced this problem?

Nevermind people - this was obviously changed in the new version as the previous host unreachable check is deprecated.

I manually created a new trigger for the Host Ping check within the windows template, checking if the ping-check have been providing any data.
