Idiots guide to installation....

Hi,

As a total novice wuith Linux (I chose Ubuntu), is there a foolproof method of installing? I successfully installed PHP, Apache,Make and Mysql, and I successfully created the database for Zabbix.

O the ./confgure stuff, I must be missing something as Ubuntu doesn't recognise configure at all!

Is there any help for a total newbie?

you need to be in the zabbix root directory (after you unpack the files) for ./configure to work properly
