icmping is not supported

Hi,
im getting out of my nerves with this item.

/usr/local/sbin/zabbix_agentd -t icmpping
icmpping [m|ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED]

My fping is in
/usr/local/sbin/fping

ll /usr/local/sbin/fping
-rws--x--- 1 root zabbix 57647 Jun 29 2011 /usr/local/sbin/fping

cat /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf | grep Fpi
### Option: FpingLocation
FpingLocation=/usr/local/sbin/fping

Please help me becouse i realy cant find sollution.

Hi,

icmpping is a "simple check", it is supported directly by zabbix server (with fping utility). It has nothing to do with zabbix agent.

When configuring an icmpping item, you must set its type to "simple check" instead of "zabbix agent" default value.
