We are running the zabbix agent on Solaris 10 and we are seeing very high shared memory utilization with the agent on Zabbix 1.8.13 and 2.x version. We are seeing up to 1.6 GB of shared mem allocation for Zabbix. This is extremely high. I have checked multiple servers and they all are the same. I was made aware of this when the DBA's had an issue and were not able to restart their databases due to lack of memory.
Is there a way to limit the share memory of the zabbix_agentd process?
Thanks for your help!
Example ipcs -a showing 1.3 GB usage.
Shared Memory:
m 1375731764 0x6c048ce9 --rw------- zabbix audit zabbix audit 6 1372200 11478 2440 7:36:26 10:29:48 7:36:26
