Zabbix Accuracy Benchmarks

As we are deploying Zabbix company-wide, I am trying to get a feel for the accuracy of the tool. I will likely have to do some testing on my own, but has anyone done any similar study in this area? It does not necessarily have to be testing in a production environment, but should be a test of at least one numeric metric monitored by Zabbix on at least two different machines and/or platforms. Thanks much!
