Zabbix 2.0.1 sends notifications, despite maintenance mode

I've configured a weekly maintenance mode for my Windows servers and have setup a maintenance WITH datacollection (if I use without datacollection I get recovery messages for servers once the period is over - so this is not an option), but my send action sends messages during maintenance even with the maintenance status not in "maintenance" set for the conditions of the action.

Anyone know how to solve this? Why does the action ignore the maintenance status?

I have the same problem. Actually this functionality have never worked for me and I've been using zabbix since 1.8.6 version.

Just to confirm your situation - have you set up a "Not in maintanance mode" codition in Action's definition?

Yeah, the actions contains the default "not in maintenance" condition, but the action ignores this setting and sends it either way.

The only thing that works is maintenance mode without data-collection, but then I get recovery messages for the "server unavailable" triggers.

I would really like a solution for this

I got it working somehow but the only thing I've done that I am aware of is that I have removed maintenance and recreated it from the scratch. This could helped because it was configured long way ago before I migrated to 2.0.1 and possibly something was not right then. Maybe try this if you haven't already. Unfortunately I cannot help any more then wishing you a good luck and keep my fingers crossed.

Ok, I tried to recreate the send action with the same values, and it seems to be working with a one-time maintenance I've created.

Let's see what happens when the next maintenance period kicks in beginning next month, hopefully it works now.

I still have the same problem in my platform which is 1.8.3. We have daily maintenance window and the action always fires even though items are in maintenance status and with data collection. I have to re-create these actions everyday so that the action could not work during maintenance window.

Does anyone know in which version it can be fixed ?
